My Awesome Trip To Cardigan Day 3

By Cam B On Day Three, we did a stream study. We found a really big salamander in the stream under a rock. We had a tray that we had put all the things we had found from the stream into. Mrs. Armstrong put a little salamander in the tray. When she did so, the big salamander ate the little one. Both the salamanders were moving around when they were caught. The stream water was moving pretty fast and there was some trash but not much there was a candy wrapper from people. When we were done we put the big salamander back so he could live and we left. We continue along the nature trail we knew it was a trail because it was blazed with yellow spraypaint it helped us move on the trail. We then played a game called Camouflage. All of the students, except one, had to hide in the woods; we were able to run to a spot and then lay down and stay still so the person looking wouldn’t see us. The one person not hiding was the seeker. This game is a lot like the game Predator and Prey. The seeker is not allowed to walk. He or she can turn around to look but that’s all. The goal was to find everybody. The person who is the last to be found is the winner. We played about twenty times. When we were hiding we were climbing and running. When we were done playing we went back to the AMC lodge. We had our wrap up meeting with Josh.
